Dr. iur. Georgia Roussou is an Attorney-at-Law, member of the Athens Bar Association, specializing in intellectual property law, commercial and corporate law, and pharmaceutical regulatory compliance. She holds a Doctorate in European Patent Law (LMU, Munich) and has served as a Research Fellow and doctoral scholar at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation & Competition. Part of her doctoral research was conducted at Waseda University, Tokyo. She also holds an LL.M. in Corporate and Commercial Law (University of Athens) and an LL.M. Eur. in European and International Business Law (LMU, Munich).

Professional Experience
Dr. iur Georgia Roussou has extensive experience as legal counsel in pharmaceutical and multinational companies, as well as an independent consultant on patent law, trademark and competition law, corporate and regulatory compliance, commercial agreements, and negotiations. She is the author of Supplementary Protection Certificates for Medicinal Products (Edward Elgar, 2022). She participates regularly in international conferences on patent law and pharmaceutical innovation.
