Surprise: Low-tech companies filing for patents perform relatively better than even High-tech companies. There are two main factors explaining this:
- The margin for improvement for Low-tech is even higher than the one in High-tech.
- If you are in Low-tech and file for patents you get a strong competitive advantage.
